Surnommé Morumbi, le nom officiel du stade est Estadio Cícero Pompeu de Toledo, du nom du président historique du Sao Paulo FC. Ce stade est l'un des deux stades majeurs du Brésil avec le Maracana de Rio, et il accueillit à ce titre la Coupe du Monde de football 2014 ainsi que des épreuves des Jeux Olympiques 2016.
